Astroblabe Institute: MD Chapter
Offered: Trimester 1 (9/13-11/22), Trimester 3 (3/7-5/30)

Astrolabe Institute is a homeschool tutorial offering comprehensive lessons for elementary, middle, and high school grades. The Maryland chapter of the program will be the 3rd location and will focus on the late Elementary/Middle School age group.
Incorporating scientific information found in the Quran and Hadith (source: Usul Al Kafi) adds a unique dimension to our curriculum, enriching students' understanding of both science and spirituality. Our goal is to provide a holistic approach to STEM that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
This chapter of the Astrolabe Institute will offer two 13-week trimesters of a full-scope STEM class with emphasis on hands-on labs and demonstrations in every session to facilitate experiential learning. Research, writing, note-taking, presenting/public speaking, debate will be part of the learning process.
This will be a full day program from 10:00-3:30 incorporating recess, Friday prayers, and lunch to build a sense of community and foster friendships.
