Our Flexible Program & Unique Educational Approach

At Azeez Academy, work with parents to ensure each child receives a holistic learning experience to create leaders who will honor their creator, faith, community, and history. Whether leading their future families or global corporations, we define leaders as individuals who can navigate challenges of tomorrow confidently without compromising their principles and values.

We believe Islamic education requires collaboration between the parents and the learning community. We also believe our children deserve more than the standard one-size-fits all experience. As each family grows through the Azeez program, they are given the flexibility to tailor-make an experience that fits the unique needs of their learners and their families with the long-term goal of creating leaders.

To achieve this goal, our approach is to work alongside parents to follow the timeless wisdom of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (as) who stated that a child’s rearing and education are ideally broken into 3 stages: “Play with them for the first seven years (of their life); then teach them for the next seven years; then advise them for the next seven years (and after that)”

The Primary stage: “Let the child be free”

Our full-time program consists of a multi-age class with distinct goals:

PreK/KG Classroom: For children aged 2-5, we utilize a play-based curriculum that honors the individual student’s unique learning journey while meeting or exceeding all National standards. Our goal is to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and the manifestation of what it means to be Muslims - love for learning, serving the community, and showing kindness and compassion because we love Allah (swt). Our curriculum is based on the Islamic months and each monthly unit will rotate between social studies, science, and language arts month-long project that is tied to the Islamic month/theme. PreK students who show readiness and all Kindergartners are introduced to linear lessons in phonics and math in a gentle and enjoyable way.

The Secondary stage: “Train the child”

In hadith from Prophet Muhammad and Imam Jafar As Sadiq, we learn the ages 7-13 should be focused on training children to succeed in the wider world while growing their foundational sense of self and connection with Allah (swt). Our Secondary program is composed of independent homeschool Tutorials in various subjects based on the expertise of educators who can continue to facilitate each child’s unique, individualized learning journey. Each class will utilize challenging curriculums and hands-on projects to offer academic challenges and foster critical thinking that is rooted in Islamic values. As homeschoolers, students can sign up for any class that suits their learning style, schedule, and/or interests.

Our Secondary program’s overarching goal is to foster a generation that strives for their own excellence in academics, social responsibility, and self-improvement because of their faith.

"Children are not vessels to be filled, but seeds to be nurtured. If the surrounding soil is one based on love, justice, and pursuing knowledge for the sake of Allah (swt), they will sprout and grow, each learning moment will be a petal in the blooming flower of their unique success."
